The system allows prefabricated elements to be manufactured to stock.
The reinforced concrete structure meets the requirements up to 120 minutes. Additional fire protection is provided by approved prefabricated elements adapted to the system, which only need to be installed without the need for on-site adjustments.
All installations require inspection to be in place where technology demands. The OpenDeck system itself is a revision system that allows 100% convenient access.
Each element of the system has several purposes. For example, cornices and balconies protect the inter-floor zone in accordance with fire regulations, but at the same time form a space for the building's air supply and exhaust, a cassette for a blind, a pot for greenery, or a structure for advertising panels. At the same time, the installed part of the cornice can be exchanged for a balcony, even when the building is in use.
They are located transversely to the ceiling girders and constructed traditionally. These are heavily loaded beams with an almost rectangular cross-section, which have openings spaced between the ceiling girders. In the upper plane of the binding joists, there are sockets that enable quick and precise arrangement of prefabricated elements without the need for measurements on-site and thus they increase the amount of support for beams balancing the shear forces.
They are H-shaped. The middle section is open for conducting electrical installations or even smaller sewer pipes like local basins sewage dischargers. The niche is masked out by a readymade panel that you can always take off and add up any given installation.
For several decades, technological development has been so rapid that assumptions made during the design phase tend to be outdated during the construction of the building. That is why we guarantee 100% access to all installations. New solutions can be implemented at any time without major costs.
Water and sewage installations traditionally conducted in the screed of the floor are exposed to failures difficult to locate and remove. The solution is to carry out the installation within the space of the raised floor. However, the height and acoustics aspects start to play a key role here. In the OpenDeck system, there is just enough space for all the water and sewage installations to be placed. There is even the possibility of conducting a horizontal passage from the exterior wall to the vertical installations through the plumbing pipes. With a drop of 1.5% and a diameter of 15 cm, the waste pipe can be moved up to 10 m.
They complement the office interior after having put all the installations. The suspended ceiling in the OpenDeck system is formed partly by the lower belts of the ceiling girders themselves. Thus, all that needs to be done is just complement the other part of the ceiling surface with literally any system of suspended ceilings, including those simplest ones (of panels of 30, 45 or 60 cm wide or vertical acoustic elements). Ceiling grid is completely eliminated as the support is within the structure.
We can use commonly available system ceilings, which simply need to be suspended in the inter-beam space.
It is designed in such a way that an air intake or exhaust can be installed anywhere. Of course, this possibility remains available at every stage, both during the design as well as during the use of the building.
A prefabricated construction stands for a high dimensions’ accuracy at the site. With it, you can engage dedicated prefabricated facade systems, which provide for a quick and accurate installation. In addition, a dedicated facade system takes advantage of the ceiling structure to create a new spectrum of opportunities for innovative technical solutions.
Considerably shortens the time of project realization and completely eliminates the possibility of installations’ damage, or the need for polishing and painting the surfaces.
Besides the commonly accessible lighting, it’s possible to engage dedicated solutions that would create unique compilations including highlighted ceilings as well.
Made as smooth architectural concrete or with the use of special matrices, allows for obtaining an architectural structure, which completely eliminates the need forinterior plastering.
Girders and beams can form one plane surface of the ceiling which facilitates assuming a specific height of the rooms and their arranging.
Makes it possible for the heavy acoustic walls, e.g. those separating the apartments, to be placed on the ceiling without having to adjust the initial design. The possibility to change the purpose of the use or to separate new residential areas is still attainable at later stage of a building’s use.
Reduces the deflections up to 11 mm with the spam of 8 m. Slabs or reinforced concrete slabs with a comparable spam are characterized by deflections up to 2.5. cm.
The solution enables isolating the lower zone from the main body of construction. The solution eliminates the necessity of plastering the connection spots after having installed the beam thus enables the architectural concrete to be left visible.
An innovative distributed heating-cooling-ventilating system, thanks to intelligent partitioning, control and the use of a new generation of air-to-air heat pumps, enables demand to be reduced to a level of 20W/m2. In addition, the entire roof area can be used for photovoltaics, which will provide the energy required for 3-4 floors.
Our goal is a building that is cheaper than a traditional building while producing energy from renewable sources sufficient or greater than our own needs.
There has been a lot of talk about sustainable construction for many years, but beyond general statements not much has happened.
However, by changing the entire philosophy of design, construction, and use, we have created an environmentally friendly system that makes it possible to build +energy buildings
Reducing design time by 80% translates into a significant reduction in office time.
Reduction in the number of building components that make up the entire system as well as reducing waste.
The system envisages the introduction of greenery both on the façade of the building and in the interior, which further contributes to user comfort and a positive CO2 reduction balance.
Cement production places a significant burden on the environment by emitting CO2 into the atmosphere. Our ceiling has an average thickness of 16 cm.
Compared to reinforced concrete ceilings - e.g. 20-25 cm thick - for each square metre of construction we save 20-36% in CO2 emissions.
The versatility of the structure makes it possible to transform the building and adapt it to the needs of other functions, thus extending the life of the building. The most environmentally damaging thing to do is to demolish a building and build a new one.
Implementing installations into the body of the structure significantly reduces the height of the floor which lets you save on the total height of the building and the costs of the entire outer casing, partition walls, staircases, installations, etc.
At the height that spans for 6 to 9 stories it is feasible to save a whole one floor!
The system allows for a free space designing without pillars every few meters. The construction path can be up to 15 m wide. In addition to obtaining much better functionality, we reduce the costs and nuisance connected with constructing binding joists, more pillars and foundations. The system is also matched to the garage module, which enables trouble-free designing process of garages with 3, 4, 5 parking spaces between the pillars, or, using a 15 m module, we can make a garage hall without pillars.
Allows conducting any installations including ventilation, heating, and ceiling cooling within the structure of the floor. Free space provides for mounting the air supply holes directly on the facade.
OpenDeck is based on a unique geometry of the beam that unifies the functionality of the standard ceiling systems and the ceiling girder. It can be compared to a rib-and-slab ceiling where the space, within which hollow blocks are normally located, is dedicated to the building’s installations
