OpenDeck is based on a unique geometry of the beam that unifies the functionality of the standard roof systems and the girders. It can be compared to a rib-and-slab floor where the space, within which hollow blocks are normally located, is dedicated to the building’s installations.

The system provides for a wide range of possibilities to arrange parking areas with convenient 3- car posts in between the pillars. The basic design grid is 810x810 cm.

Implementing installations into the body of the structure significantly reduces the height of the floor which lets you save on the total height of the building and on the costs of the entire outer casing, separating walls, staircases, installations, etc. At the height that spans for 6 to 9 storeys it is feasible to save a whole one floor!

are H-shaped. The middle section is open for conduct electrical installations or even smaller sewer pipes like local basins sewage dischargers. The niche is masked out by a readymade panel that you can always take off and add up any given installation.

are situated horizontally against beams and constructed in a traditional way. They beams are heavily burdened of an almost rectangular intersection, ….. Slots have a double functionality that enables a quick and precise positioning of precast without the need for measurements on site and thus they increase the amount of support for beams balancing the shear forces.

Considerably shortens the time of project realization and levels completely the possibility of installations’ damage, the need for polishing and painting the surfaces.

allows to conduct any installations including ventilation, heating and ceiling cooling within the structure of the floor. Free space provides for mounting the air supply holes directly on the facade.

In addition, a dedicated facade system takes advantage of the ceiling structure to create a new spectrum of opportunities for innovative technical solutions.

complement the office interior after having put all the installations. The suspended ceiling in the OpenDeck system is formed partly by the lower belts of the beams themselves. Thus all that needs to be done is just complementing the other 50% of the ceiling surface with literally any system of suspended ceilings, including those simplest ones (of panels of 30 cm wide or vertical acoustic elements). As support is within the structure we completely eliminate the ceiling grid.

WATER AND SEWAGE SYSTEMS

Water and sewage installations traditionally conducted in the screed of the floor come in for failures difficult to locate and remove. The solution is to carry out the installation within the space of the raised floor. However the height and acoustics aspects start to play a key role in here. In OpenDeck system there is just enough space for all the water and sewage installations to be placed. There is even the possibility of conducting a horizontal passage from the exterior wall to the vertical installations through the plumbing pipes. With a drop of 1.5% and a diameter of 15 cm the waste pipe can be moved up to 10 m.

The OpenDeck system was designed to solve out all the problems connected with conducting ventilation ducts and installing ventilation systems throughout the building. In fact, the ventilation can be designed even without having to carry out the ducts as the space between the beams can create itself proper and sufficient ventilation ducts. With such space we can reduce air flow velocity up to 1 m /s thereby reducing the noise and the drag. By gaining a slight overpressure within the ceiling a large plenum is created. The structure of the ceiling e.g. a properly selected perforated plate, or even a fabric provides for a laminar flow of air over the entire floor area.

can be integrated with the ventilation system by imtroducing heat pumps or traditional ceiling panels ready to be installed in between the beams.

A reinforced concrete structure meets the requirements for 120 min. Additional fire protection comes from certified readymade elements that conform to the system and only need installing (without having to match the components on site).

The attempts to create an integrated construction system conforming to all the building installations have been undertaken for decades.
